Deals represent your sales opportunities. Each deal moves through customizable pipeline stages from initial interest to close. OppLogix provides both a list view and a visual pipeline board for managing your deals.

Deals List

The Deals list view shows all your opportunities in a sortable, searchable table.

1
Navigate to Deals in the sidebar.
2
Use the search bar to filter by deal title or company name.
3
Click column headers to sort by title, value, stage, expected close date, or assigned user.
4
Click a deal row to open the Deal Workspace.
5
Use the stage filter to show only deals in a specific stage.
6
Use the assigned user filter to see deals for a specific team member.

Pipeline Board

The Pipeline view displays your deals as a Kanban board with one column per stage. Each column shows the total value of deals in that stage.

1
Navigate to Deals and click the Pipeline tab (or go to the Pipeline page directly).
2
Each deal appears as a card showing the title, value, contact, company, and a risk indicator dot.
3
Drag and drop a card between columns to move a deal to a different stage.
4
When dropping a deal into a Won or Lost stage, you'll be prompted to enter a closed date.
The Pipeline board is the fastest way to update deal stages. Just drag a card to the new column — no need to open the deal first.

Creating a Deal

New deals can be created from the Deals list or from within a Contact or Company record.

1
Click the + New Deal button on the Deals page.
2
Enter the deal title (e.g., 'Acme Corp - Enterprise License').
3
Link a contact and company (Ship To).
4
Set the stage, value, currency, expected close date, and probability.
5
Assign the deal to a team member.
6
Click Save — the deal workspace stays open so you can add notes, tasks, or files.

Deal Workspace

The Deal Workspace is a full-featured modal with tabs for managing every aspect of a deal. When you create a new deal, the workspace stays open so you can immediately start adding related information.

Info Notes Tasks Files Quotes Contracts Timeline Activity

Activity — Detailed audit log of every change made to this deal.

Deal Risk Scoring

OppLogix automatically calculates a risk score for each deal based on 10 factors. Risk scores help you identify deals that need attention before they go cold.

1
Risk levels — Each deal is scored as Low (0-30), Medium (31-60), or High (61-100) risk.
2
3
Risk indicators appear as colored dots on deal cards in the Pipeline view and as badges in the Deals list.
4
The Dashboard's Pipeline Health panel aggregates risk across all your open deals.
Risk scores are computed automatically — there's nothing to configure. They update in real time as you work on deals.

Inline Assignment

You can quickly reassign deals to different team members directly from the Deals list without opening the deal workspace.

1
In the Deals list, click the assigned user name in the row.
2
Select a new user from the dropdown.
3
The deal is immediately reassigned.
Deleting a deal is permanent and cannot be undone. All associated notes, tasks, and files will also be removed. Quotes and contracts linked to the deal will remain but lose their deal association.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes! Go to Settings > Pipeline to add, rename, reorder, or delete stages. You can also set a color, probability percentage, and mark stages as Won or Lost.

You'll be prompted to enter a closed date. The deal will be removed from the active pipeline and reflected in your Won Value or lost metrics on the Dashboard.

No, deal deletions are permanent. We recommend moving unwanted deals to a Lost stage instead of deleting them to preserve your sales history.
