Leads represent potential customers who haven't yet been qualified as sales opportunities. OppLogix lets you capture leads, track their progress, and convert them into Contacts, Companies, and Deals with a single click.

Leads List

The Leads list gives you a complete view of all incoming prospects.

Navigate to Leads in the sidebar.

Use the search bar to find leads by name, company, or email.

Filter by status, source, or assigned user.

Click column headers to sort by name, value, source, status, or created date.

Click a lead row to open the lead detail modal.

Creating a Lead

Capture new leads as they come in from various sources.

Click the + New Lead button on the Leads page.

Enter the lead's first name, last name, email, and phone.

Set the company, title, source (where the lead came from), and status.

Optionally add an estimated value, currency, and expected close date.

Assign the lead to a team member.

Click Save.

Lead Detail Modal

The lead detail view provides full access to lead information and activity tracking.

Info Notes Tasks Files Activity
Info — Lead details — name, email, phone, company, title, source, status, value, expected close date, assigned user, and notes.
Notes — Add timestamped notes about interactions with this lead.
Tasks — Create tasks for lead follow-up activities.
Files — Upload documents related to this lead (10MB per file).
Activity — Audit log of all changes to this lead record.

Qualifying a Lead

When a lead is ready to become an active opportunity, use the Qualify action to convert it into a Contact, Company, and Deal in one step.

Open the lead you want to qualify.

Click the Qualify button.

Review and adjust the pre-filled information for the new Contact, Company, and Deal.

Fill in the bill-to address fields if needed.

Click Qualify to complete the conversion.

OppLogix creates the Contact, Company, and Deal automatically and links them together.
After qualification, the original lead record is marked as qualified. The new deal appears in your pipeline and the contact is linked to the company.

Lead Sources

Track where your leads come from to measure the effectiveness of your marketing channels. Lead sources are customizable in Settings.

Public Lead Capture

OppLogix provides a public API endpoint for capturing leads from your website or external forms. Leads submitted through the API are automatically created in your CRM.

The public lead capture API uses an API key for authentication (not JWT). See the API documentation at api-docs.opplogix.com for details.

Frequently Asked Questions

A lead is an unqualified prospect — someone who has shown interest but hasn't been vetted yet. A contact is a qualified person you're actively doing business with. Use the Qualify action to convert leads into contacts.

OppLogix doesn't currently support direct lead import. However, you can import contacts, companies, and deals via CSV from Settings > Data Import/Export.
