Data Import/Export lets you bring data into OppLogix from external sources and extract your CRM data for reporting or migration. All imports and exports use the CSV format for broad compatibility.

Import Data

Import records into OppLogix from a CSV file.

Navigate to Settings in the sidebar, then select the Data Import/Export tab

Upload your CSV file

Map each CSV column to the corresponding OppLogix field using the column mapping interface

Review the import preview showing the first 5 rows to verify the mapping is correct

Click Import to commit the records

Duplicate Detection

During import, OppLogix checks for existing records to prevent duplicates.

Duplicates are detected based on email address (for contacts and leads) or name (for companies and products)

Review the duplicate count in the import preview before committing

Export Data

Export your CRM data to CSV files for reporting, analysis, or backup.

Click Export to generate the CSV file

Download the exported CSV file when processing is complete
Exports include all related fields for the selected record type. For example, exporting deals includes the associated company name, stage, value, and close date.
Before running a large import, test with a small CSV file (5-10 rows) to verify your column mapping is correct. This avoids having to clean up incorrectly imported data.
Imported data cannot be bulk-undone. If an import produces incorrect results, you will need to manually correct or delete the affected records. Always preview your import carefully before committing.
