Email & SMTP settings control how your organization sends emails from OppLogix. Configure your SMTP server for transactional and bulk email sending, and manage campaigns and subscription lists.

SMTP Configuration

Set up your outgoing mail server so OppLogix can send emails on behalf of your organization.

1
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar, then select the Email & SMTP tab
2
Enter your SMTP Host (e.g., smtp.gmail.com)
3
Enter the Port (typically 587 for TLS or 465 for SSL)
4
Enter the SMTP Username and Password
5
Select the Encryption method (TLS or SSL)
6
Click Save to store the configuration

Test SMTP Connection

Verify your SMTP settings are correct by sending a test email.

1
After saving your SMTP configuration, click Send Test Email
2
Enter a recipient email address
3
Click Send -- you should receive a test email within a few moments
4
If the test fails, check your SMTP credentials and server settings

Email Campaigns

Create and manage email campaigns to send bulk communications to your contacts and leads. Campaigns use email templates and can be targeted to specific segments of your audience.

Email Templates

Build reusable email templates with a rich text editor for use in campaigns and one-off emails. Templates support merge tags to personalize each message with recipient data.

Subscription Management

Manage opt-in and opt-out lists to ensure compliance with email regulations.

1
View and manage subscription lists from the Subscriptions section
2
Contacts and leads can unsubscribe via the unsubscribe link included in bulk emails
3
Manually add or remove contacts from subscription lists as needed
SMTP settings are organization-wide and apply to all outbound emails sent by OppLogix, including campaign emails, notifications, and reminders. Individual users can also connect personal email accounts via OAuth on their Profile page.
Always send a test email after changing SMTP settings. If emails are not being delivered, check your spam folder and verify that your SMTP provider allows sending from the configured address.
